Cheap Ways to Travel the World

Most people fancy the idea of traveling around the world, sketching a memorable picture of all the enticing, alluring and scintillating locations they wish to visit but always deter from actually doing so in reality, owing to mounting travel expenses. However, traveling can be expensive. There are costs that need to be incurred and without working, it is hard to keep your bank balance up. It takes a lot of work and good budgeting. In order to travel long term, you need to find ways to travel cheaply and save money.

To kick start your journey of a cheap budget vacation to destinations all over the world with minimal costs, look for tour operators who offer attractive packages to varied locations. Since tour operators muster various discounts while booking in bulk with certain airlines and hotel resorts, it is recommended you get your holiday booked through them as well. It will be relatively cheaper than booking the entire holiday yourself. Make sure you are an early bird and buy these packages well in advance from the date of departure as they tend to be cheaper then.

Another alluring opportunity to travel cheap around the world is to participate in a home exchange. This could be made possible by surfing online and does not require a travel agent but is still a cheap and a one in a life time chance to see countries that you would be only dreaming of otherwise. A home exchange program is primarily characterized with tow families interchanging homes for a holiday period, provided both the families have agreed unanimously on this program. Most attractively, it does not involve any hotel costs and the food and beverage expense is not tantamount since most of the times you cook at home. A home exchange program is an ideal way to sneak a glance around the world, its inhabitants, dig at their culture and encapsulate all your experiences in your memory book at an affordable cost.

For most of us travel begins with an extensive hunt for cheap and discounted international flights to get you to your holiday destination. Once you've reached your destination, you can then book low cost regional airlines within the country or region. Train travel, far cheaper than air travel though, is also a thrilling experience, a one of a kind opportunity to watch the country side cruising by like slices of life in motion. Single train journeys are invariably more expensive than train passes, however they still do a seamless job of making train travel a reality. Distant towns and villages can be accessed very often by buses that are an excellent and cheap substitute to other forms of public transport.

There are many ways to travel around the world cheaply. It simply requires good planning and budgeting. Not all tips work and each area and you need to be versatile and flexible. If you use these tips where they best apply, you will maximize the use of your money and save a lot so you can travel longer. Those like me who travel long term do it by good research and proper planning.

Women's Self-Defense Classes - The Fallacy of Women's Self Defense

There are many who say women learn self-defense better in an exclusively women-only environment. The so-called "experts" say it is less intimidating if women don't have to compete with the men, or, it is easier (more comfortable) to discuss subjects like rape without men present. So, the new trend in self-defense programs is "Women's Self Defense" classes.

I don't agree with this line of reasoning, because the overwhelming evidence suggests that this is the wrong approach. I can't tell you how many times I have heard, "I took a women's self-defense course once. But, I went home and tried some of the stuff on my husband (or boyfriend), and it didn't work!"

There is nothing more confidence-shattering than to spend the time learning all the techniques and starting to feel good about yourself, only to have the bubble burst the first time you try out your new-found skills. Women then begin to feel there is nothing they can do to protect themselves when they can't even make it work against someone who isn't really trying to hurt them.

The real shame is when someone is really attacked, and after repeated attempts, can't make their self-defense techniques work. At that point, they simply give up, and won't fight back no matter what. I can only imagine that someone in that situation would look back on the time or money spent for self-defense classes and feel that they had been victimized twice!

Why "Women's Self Defense" Programs Don't Work!

Most of the people who take my self-defense classes are women. Sometimes, I even have a class that is all women. However, that is by coincidence, not design. Women who sign up for my classes know that there may be both men and women in the class. Whether there are actually men in the class is not important, after all, I am instructing the class, so there is always at least one man in the class.

The point is, if a woman is so intimidated by men, that she will not even take a self-defense class with men, she will never survive an attack by a man. Why? Because "intimidation" is just another word for fear. Until she can prove to herself the techniques work on a man, she has done nothing to help her get over her fear of men.

If she is ever attacked, it will probably be by a man! If she hasn't gotten over her fear of men, she will immediately panic, no matter what she has learned. If she hasn't learned how to deal with the bigger, stronger, more aggressive male, she will not understand how the dynamics of the situation will change in the real world!

Women MUST practice self-defense techniques against a man! Otherwise, how will she know they work against a man? This is what we call "realistic scenario training" (more about this later). If she has only practiced self-defense techniques with other women, she gets a false sense of security that her techniques will work in the real world. But, an even bigger problem is that most of what is taught in these so-called "women's self-defense" classes wouldn't work anyway!

Poor Teaching Methods

Much of what is taught as "women's self-defense" is not only ineffectual, but insulting as well. Courses intended only for women assume they are weak, less capable of defending themselves, and therefore need different methods from men to counteract violence. Women have been told to "yell 'FIRE', carry a hat pin or umbrella to jab at him, do something vulgar to gross him out, like tell him you have VD." If any of that junk worked, we'd be teaching men to do the same thing.

The following sample of bad advice still shows up in high schools and women's self-defense courses:

"Confrontation always makes everything worse. Don't react-it might be an overreaction. Don't add to the violence by becoming violent yourself. Don't make him mad. Trying to escape risks escalating the problem."

These ideas are wishful thinking or blind optimism. Experience at real crime scenes teaches you something very different.

Imagine if the percentages of women and men raped were 50-50 instead of 98 percent women and 2 percent men. [Outside of prison, those are the true percentages.] Now imagine someone telling men, "Don't overreact to rape, guys. Go along with his demands so you won't be hurt." I think you can see there might be a double standard that is completely unfair to women.

Doing Nothing

Doing nothing against a violent attack is the biggest risk of all because it makes resistance and escape later far more difficult. Worse, statistics show it actually increases the likelihood that violence will escalate, especially when the crime is rape. The most profound example involving resisting (doing something) versus submitting (doing nothing) was a Department of Justice study of rape published in 1985:

Rapists do not normally pre-arm themselves with weapons. Only 23 percent of 1.6 million cases studied involved knives or guns. [The major exception to this are rapists who break into a residence; 96 percent grab a knife from the kitchen.] Approximately 51 percent of women resisted in some form, ranging from screaming to fleeing, to fighting back; the remaining 49 percent did nothing. When broken down between resistance or submission, there was only an increase of two percent in the injury level to the women who resisted.

Yes, there is always a risk involved in fighting back, but there is just as much risk in doing nothing. If you face a rapist and do nothing, he'll rape you. If you face an armed criminal forcing you into his car and do nothing, he'll kidnap you. The "do-nothing" group believes that in doing nothing, they risk nothing.

Doers, in contrast, have simple and direct reasons for taking action: "If I don't do something fast, it's going to get worse."

False Claims

Another problem is the false sense of security given by unsubstantiated claims. One direct-mail women's safety device provides an "instant and easy self-defense" video for women.... "Can you point your finger?... Can you raise your hand?... If your answer is yes, you can instantly escape anything from rape to severe attacks.... It's quick and easy." The product being mentioned here, pepper spray, almost never works this way in the real world.

One television commercial for a women's self-defense program promises "two-minute, guaranteed knockout using your feet. When your assailant tries to grab you, use the heel of your shoe to strike into his head over and over." Could you really learn to do this in two minutes? It takes years of training in karate or taekwondo to learn to effectively kick someone in the head, and even then, it's a risky move. It's just a marketing ploy to get your money.

If you buy a police radar detector that is guaranteed to work, but doesn't, the result is a speeding ticket. If you pay for "self-defense classes" or videos that don't deliver as promised, the result can be severe injury or even death. Relying on someone else's guarantee is only a false sense of security that will only have bad results!

Anti-crime gadgets, and martial arts self-defense programs marketed to women, are often too simplistic and come with unrealistic guarantees. The fact is, surviving crime requires far more mental toughness than physical abilities. Size, weight, conditioning, and upper-body strength don't make the difference. If they did, a lot of men would be in deep trouble. Crime survival takes tough-minded mental conditioning, the same for both men and women.

What Does Work

What works, as proved by the results of both police and military testing, is "realistic scenario training". Scenario training consists of learning techniques, rehearsing them in realistic scenarios, and then visualizing these actions in your mind. It is a method used in many fields, from sports to law enforcement, military to medicine.

Scenario training is a way of planning our responses. We do something similar every day in our regular lives. We plan what to say if the boss criticizes a report we've submitted, or how to appease our spouse if we've done something irritating. Often we actually rehearse the words we'll use, we do it constantly. It doesn't always get us what we want, but it gives us a better chance.

Face-to-face with violence, your first split-second problem is not what is he going to do, but, "what are you going to do?" Scenario training against violence answers that question at the right time... before it happens. You can make mistakes and learn from them before it becomes a life or death situation! Scenario training to survive violent crime draws on real-life crime cases, which allows us to analyze our own mistakes, as well as the mistakes of others, learn from them, and decide how we will respond differently.

Without realistic scenario training, people panic and freeze up; they have no way to cut through the overwhelming fear that boxes them in during a crisis. Everyone needs to train for the same scenarios, and everyone, men and women alike, need to train the same way: to develop the mental toughness needed to survive a real attack!

Summary

This is the bottom line that must be adopted by every woman, every women's self-defense teacher, and every parent of a daughter: If the how-to-survive-violence technique and advice is not acceptable to men, it's not acceptable to women.

Knowing how to handle yourself when confronted with violence is your only insurance against becoming a victim, or just another statistic in a police report. You have car insurance, home-owner's insurance, life insurance, health insurance...

What insurance do you have against being the victim of a violent crime? A long-term self-defense program offers the most comprehensive training, and therefore, the best opportunity to learn to handle almost any situation that may occur. However, if you don't have the time to commit to a long-term program, at least some form of weaponless self-defense training is better than none.

But women MUST practice techniques with MEN! The idea that women can learn to defend themselves against men, without training with men, is simply false.

The Bum Marketing Course - Make Money on the Web the Easy Way

Do you have a website that just doesn't seem to be generating the traffic it should? Are you tired of wasting money on worthless web marketing techniques? Have you been accused of spamming to the point where your ISP is threatening to drop you like a hot potato if you don't cease and desist? Been kicked out of Internet forums for trying to post affiliate links? Have you tried every technique under the sun to try and improve your search engine ranking? Then you need to take a serious look at The Bum Marketing Course.

The key to Internet marketing success is not how much money you spend, and it's not about driving traffic to your website. You need to entice, not force people to come to your site. This keeps them happy so they keep coming back for more. The Bum Marketing Course got started when a fellow named Travis from Arkansas claimed he could take any bum off the street and teach him how to make money in a week. Now you can learn these same techniques just by visiting our website. If a bum off the street can make money in a week, just think how little time it would take you to be on your way to Internet riches.

The great thing about The Bum Marketing Course is that you don't even have to enjoy writing to make money. In Part Two of the course titled "Ghostwriters-How to Hire a Good One" you'll learn how to "hire" qualified authors to write articles for you that will entice prospects to come to your site. Or if you prefer to do the writing yourself, Part One, titled "The Dirty Secrets of Bum Marketing" will show you not only how to write the articles, but how to get them listed on sites like EzineArticles.com.

And the best part about it is that you don't need to be an Internet expert, or even own your own website to get started. But you do need to take the time to read through the 125 jam-packed pages that make up The Bum Marketing Guide. You'll learn valuable information like how Google really works, how to be regarded as an expert in your field, and how to add content that brings people to your website.

Professional Debt Relief - Manage Debts Despite Zero Experience With Online Help

Most of us never realize that we have zero experience in managing finances. When we are young, we are encouraged to earn pocket money and are expected to manage our expenses with the same. As we grow older, we may be given a credit card to manage our monthly expenses. However, most parents keep a strict eye on the usage of the credit card. So much so that the card is used just like any other debit card.

All this may increase the confidence of the parent but the youngster never really understands how to make proper use of a credit card. Once the individual starts earning, he or she is given complete financial freedom. If fact, it is considered rude for parents to include in the personal finances of their children once they have got a job and become independent.

The end result is that persons find themselves being flooded with credit card offers. Unsecured lenders talk of getting personal loans in a single day. Advertisements that talk of preapproved loans worth hundreds of thousands of dollars is enough to entice even the most disciplined person.

All it takes is one mistake to fall into the debt trap. With the universal default rule applicable in the country, you just have to default on one credit card or unsecured lender once and you will face problems from each and every service provider in the market. The sheer effect is overwhelming. All those friendly credit card issuers and unsecured lenders quickly become rude and hand over the accounts to even ruder debt collection agents.

This mistake is compounded by another mistake - bankruptcy. The first thing that you should do is skip all thoughts of running away. Instead, you should use your head and try to learn how to manage your debts. How to overcome the existing problem? How to overcome thousands of dollars of credit card debt and unsecured loans you have against you name?

Employ the services of a professional debt settlement company, get a 50% waiver, get installment facility on payment of the balance amount and start managing your finances from scratch. This is not easy. A person who has never had experience in handling finances will find it very difficult to make 36 monthly payments without fail.

However, if you succeed in this approach, you would have averted a huge problem and you would have successfully laid the foundation for proper financial planning and management.

Teleseminars For Profit - 9 Tips on How to Hold a Profitable Teleseminar and Build Your Business

You can make money with teleseminars if you know how to do it correctly. I routinely make anywhere from five hundred to a thousand dollars every time I do a teleseminar, and these are completely free calls. Here are some ways you can make money whenever you hold a call and get people to listen to what you have to say.

Give your teleseminar a title that will attract people who are interested in your topic. This title must be catchy and tell the prospect what the benefit will be if they choose to participate. Begin to invite people to attend your teleseminar about a week before it will take place. This will give them time to schedule your call as part of their weekly engagements. Remind them the day of your event so they will not forget. Although many people will mark their calendar, even more will forget about it completely. Be sure to include your social network contacts when you are inviting people to attend. Your list is not the only source of prospects, now that Web 2.0 is here to stay. Provide good, solid information during your teleseminar. If you build a reputation for giving people information and content they can use, they will be more likely to attend your calls and trust you to give them valuable advice. Prepare a study guide for people to follow during your call. Even if it is only two pages long, people will appreciate having something to print out. Be sure to include your name and contact information on each page, so that they can stay in touch with you or email you for more information. You will be surprised when someone contacts you months later, but this typically happens if you follow these suggestions. During the call, make recommendations to affiliate products and services, as well as anything you have to offer. Make sure the things you recommend are directly related to what you are talking about during your teleseminar. Allow people to submit questions that you can answer during the call. Say their name and website so that others can contact them if they feel it is something they can use. This is all part of creating a community where people can begin to know and trust each other. At the end of your teleseminar, invite people to email you with more questions. You will find that the twenty to thirty minutes after the call is the time more people are likely to sign up for your recommended products and services.

Follow these 9 suggestions and you will have a profitable teleseminar and begin to build your online business quickly.

What Is a Badminton Drill?

A Badminton Drill is quite simply a practice.

No, not practicing by playing or knocking a few shuttles across the net to your partner. A Badminton Drill is a practice. It's a practice of a specific skill or element required to play badminton. The Badminton drill can take many forms but will usually focus on taking a small and specific area on which to work.

Let me give an example from my own style of play, I invariably have my racquet 'down' either to the side or in front, even when at the front of the court. But a far better position for the racquet and me as I'm well over six foot, is to have my knees slightly bend and the racquet head raised to shoulder or head height. I need to Drill this habit into my head. So my partner and I play the 'patty cake' game, both stand just back of the front service line and try hitting the shuttle as horizontal and as close to the net tape as possible.

It becomes a 'game' when there are no rules, i.e. freedom to hit shuttle on either forehand or backhand. It becomes a Drill when you continually just do forehand. It can be further broken down into say, near forehand and far forehand.

Badminton drills are better than practise as they are more specific to particular areas and should be done over a considerable amount of time. An hour spent on a particular Badminton drill is nothing, and what's more it should be regularly repeated throughout the training regime.

Another Badminton drill might be 'mid court backhand cross net return', bit of a mouthful that, but if your partner can deliver the shuttle to the right area this is easily practicable, but the main purpose of the drill could be to get you to change from a forehand grip to a backhand grip!!..

A Badminton drill is a very useful training technique and is simply a repetition of a small but necessary skill.

Freedom From Fear- Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

Do you live in your own private hell - a self-imposed prison of fear? Frozen, unable to live your life fully because your feelings of apprehension and fear control you? Fear and anxiety are familiar feelings that most of us experience from time to time. It's our body's response to worry, apprehension and threatening situations. It's an alarm bell that goes off whenever we perceive danger and prompts us to take appropriate actions. This is a good thing. But what happens when a person's alarm never shuts off? When the Big Bad Wolf is always at the door? This type of chronic anxiety is highly destructive and left unchecked can be hazardous to your health.

Root causes of anxiety disorders:

Although there are no clear-cut answers as to why some people develop an anxiety disorder, studies show evidence that anxiety disorders can run in families. Findings suggest that a genetic factor combined with life experiences may play a role. For others, a traumatic event such as rape, or the death of a loved one can trigger one type of disorder or another. Long term exposure to negative life experiences such as abuse and poverty can also make a person more susceptible to one of these crippling disorders. Whatever the reason, excessive apprehension and fear can take it's toll, often leading to other problems such as low self-esteem, depression and panic attacks.

Does your Wolf have a name?

There are several types of anxiety disorders, each with it's own set of unique symptoms.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): Persistent nervousness, worrying and the feeling that something bad is going to happen.

Panic Disorder: Repeated unexpected panic attacks that occur without warning.

Phobias: An overwhelming and irrational fear that in reality presents little to no danger.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD): Excessive and time consuming impulses or compulsions such as hand washing, cleaning, counting, checking and repeating actions.

Separation Anxiety: Excessive anxiety occurring in children concerning separation from home or fear being lost to their families.

Social Anxiety / Social Phobia: The fear of social situations where the individual may be judged negatively.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): Recurrent, intrusive memories of a traumatic event in which the person witnessed with intense fear, horror or helplessness.

Keeping the Wolves at bay:

So what can you do if anxiety symptoms are interfering with your daily activities and making your life a living hell? You can start by seeking professional help. There are a variety of effective treatments available including psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapies, hypnosis and medication. Or you may want to join a support group where you can share your fears and frustrations with your peers. There are numerous online communities dedicated to the support of those suffering from any type of anxiety disorder. Whatever path you choose, if you want free yourself from fear and start living your life again, you need to face that wolf once and for all.

Maintaining Above Ground Pools Is A Must

Many families are selecting above ground pools because these are less expensive than in ground versions. However, these pools require the same type of maintenance and neglecting it is a huge mistake. Proper maintenance not only keeps the water clear and healthy for swimmers, it extends the life of the pool, making that hard-earned investment well worth the cost. Anyone considering an above ground swimming pool should master the maintenance duties.

Several areas should be addressed in addition to the regular chemical treatments. An above ground pool usually consists of a vinyl liner suspended by a wooden frame and surrounded by a fence or decking. Vinyl is subject to fading and tearing, especially when the pool is located in direct sunlight and is regularly used. Weather conditions cause wood to become brittle, splinter, and fade.

If the pool is more than ten years old, inspect the fence, decking, and wood frame for damage. Applying wood sealer to the wood surfaces every two to three years makes the wood last longer. However, even the most diligent maintenance may not prevent a deck from developing soft spots that require reinforcement or repair. A bolster of 2x4s can be used along the side or underneath the deck to provide support. Each year, check the railing for splinters and sand these. In addition, test the stability of the railing and make the area more secure, if necessary.

When a vinyl liner is properly cared for, it will last for a long time. Even when a leak occurs, it can usually be easily patched with an underwater patching kit. Swimmers should be able to enjoy the pool for many more years, saving the pool owner a huge expense. When liner replacement is eventually required, an expert should be called. This project is difficult so consumers should not attempt it on their own.

Regularly cleaning the liner keeps it free of debris that can cause damage. Prior to covering the pool in the fall and immediately after opening it in the spring, the liner should be given a thorough cleaning. Swimmers appreciate not brushing up against algae when they grab the side of the pool. They also like the smooth feeling of a clean bottom liner rather than pebbles, dirt, and other debris. Dirt at the bottom of the pool is stirred up by swimmers, irritating skin and eyes.

A sand filter is often used and it requires occasional maintenance. Replacing sand every two years keeps it clean so it is more effective. Sand collects the microscopic particles that a vacuum and brush often miss. These particles accumulate in the sand, making it dirty. This can cause the pressure valve to run too high.

The valve should be periodically checked to ensure that the pressure is correct. Backwashing and rinsing are required when pressure is not optimal. When closing the pool for the fall, drain the filter. Leaving water in it can result in cracking or breaking when water freezes during cold temperatures. Perform these tasks properly and the pool should last for years!

Correct Cleaning and Polishing Gel Coat for Durability

I once pulled into a supermarket and was nearly jumped on by a valet.."want your van washed mate"?

"errrm what are you going to remove the grit with"? I asked as he was only holding a bucket and sponge. He looked at me as if I had come from another planet and looked into the bucket, frowned and said "The sponge?? "... a tempting offer but I politely declined.

Those 'spider web' swirly type patterns on a car or boat when the sun hits them is a sure sign that the surface has been damaged. Tiny little grit particles have scratched the surface, preventing a perfect reflection.

The simple reason is that the surface has not been correctly prepared to receive any form of agitation.

It is very common to make this mistake as a new boat owner, not just as a car owner (in fact gel coat is softer than paintwork) and is usually the main reason behind accelerating the breakdown; poor 'half job' polishing techniques coming in a close second.

Correct cleaning techniques go further than just a hose down and sponge if you are thinking of looking after your boat properly. Above surface contaminates (those that can be washed off) simply is just not extensive enough, you have to go a little further. A pressure washer is a good investment as these will remove the more 'bonded' contaminates and do not involve any agitation at this stage.

Another good tip is to pre-soak the surfaces to soften them up a little before the pressure washer gets to work, but even after this there will probably be more contaminates glued to the gel coat, tree sap etc. After drying a small section, if you're feeling professional place your hand inside a small plastic 'freezer' type bag and run your hand over the surface; you should feel little bumps here and there. These also need to be removed, certainly if you are following the cleaning with any machine polishing as these 'little bumps' get caught in the buffing heads.

These can be removed by the use of a clay bar, the process is simple, very safe and will ensure a smooth surface. The difference will be amazing, very silky surfaces and correctly prepared for further work.

So how does failing to prepare the surfaces correctly affect the durability of the gel coat?

Well, a smooth highly reflective surface allows light to hit it once! But on a scratched surface it is hit many times as the light rattles in the peaks and troughs of each and every tiny scratch, even the ones that are hardly visible without sunlight; more of the surface is being exposed. This action also increases those height differences, further damaging the surface.

Tiny dirt particles also get trapped within the peaks, holding on to marks and stains where they were previously shrugged off with a simple wash, tempting you to use more harsh cleaners than you used before. Also the particles can be pulled out and held by a sponge, therefore the gritty cycle repeats over and over again.

It is for this reason surfaces can maintain their original gloss for some period, then rapidly lose the lustre in a couple of seasons and go from there to severe oxidation in the same time frame.

Oxygen also plays a huge part in the breakdown process in much the same way. On a perfect profile you can offer quality wax as a barrier to oxygen but with a micro-scratched surface you will be trapping oxygen within the peaks and allow it to continue robbing the free radicals of the gel coat or paint.

Five Tools for Pay Per Click Optimization!

Diving headlong into pay per click optimization is not the ideal strategy for an entrepreneur looking for online business prosperity. You must perform adequate research into the specific market, then apply what you've learned to your online venture. The learning curve is best harnessed in a slow and deliberate manner in order to minimize losses and frustration.

It is a popularized fact that most businesses fail within the first twelve months of operation. In order for you to increase your chances of surviving that crucial first year, here are some tools an online business owner might decide to become proficient with.

Google Keyword Research Tool

To ultimately perform pay per click optimization, start with a strong foundation. Using Google's tool to research keywords gives you a clear idea of what words are pertinent to your venture, and which keywords to leave out. If you submit a keyword, the keyword tool will return plenty of different ways in which people use that particular keyword. For example, if you enter "Japanese food", it will give similar combination's of words netizens may use, like "Japanese food recipes" or "traditional Japanese food."

Keyword Typos Generator

No one is perfect, and on the World Wide Web, typographical errors run ridiculously rampant. Punching in a word or phrase hands you a list of ways in which those keywords are improperly typed.Take advantage of this and realize that words spelled incorrectly are generally cheaper than their properly typed counterparts.

Spyfu

One of the primary reasons you are executing pay per click optimization is to get a leg up on your competitors. You need a way to find out what their game plan is so you can maneuver your own business into a more strategically viable position. Using Spyfu grants you instant access into what keywords the competition is deploying. Pop in the domain name of the other guys after your customer's dollars, and a click later, you've got the inside scoop into what words they decided upon.

Google AdWords Traffic Estimator

This certainly is one of the most popular, free, and prevalent tools for pay-per click optimization. To employ such a powerful tool, type in a word or phrase which you would like to analyze and foresee its effectiveness. It will conveniently tell you how much the entered keyword will cost on a daily basis, the predicted number of clicks received per day, and the average number of searches during a twelve month period.

What Does MLM and Alkaline Antioxidant Water Have to Do With Retiring?

THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT was passed by Congress as part of the New Deal that President Roosevelt signed into law 1935. It was to provide benefits to retirees, unemployed and a lump-sum at death. This act provided money to states for unemployment insurance, Aid to Dependent Children, health care and other benefits. There was a lot of discrimination which reinforced traditional views of family life such as insurance only through their husbands or children. Some state excluded children out-of-wedlock. There was a creation of the Social Security Trust Fund.

AMENDMENTS OF THE 1960s changed the retirement age to 62, was extended to men and the tax rate was increased to 6.0%. Medicare and Medicaid were added by President Lyndon B. Johnson's Great Society program. That's when congress allowed funds from Social Security Trust Fund to be put into the General Fund for more of Congresses spending instead of being invested for Social Security.

AMENDMENTS OF THE 1970s set up a cost of living adjustment (COLA) to index benefits to inflation. A $5 billion piece of legislation expanded the Social Security program to include Supplemental Security Income (SSI). It is not an entitlement but is a welfare program. The SSI is an entitlement to the poor, elderly and disabled regardless of work history. There have been many more amendments throughout the years showing individuals are at the mercy of the USA government in the costs and distribution of SS benefits.

MLM businesses operate in the United States and in more than 100 other countries. They are independent distributors that develop their organizations by building an active customer base or by recruiting down line independent distributors. The MLM system can multiply your work efforts by the people who like your product and also market your products. This allows you to make a profit on your purchases and multiplies the sales of others in residual income.

ALKALINE ANTIOXIDANT WATER is helpful in preventing and or reducing symptoms of such diseases as HEART DISEASE, CANCER, prostate cancer, Parkinson, diabetes, arthritis, osteopenia, high blood pressure and a whole lot more. The Health + News features information on Alkaline Antioxidant Water. There are many personal testimonies of how the water reduces or stops the symptoms from the diseases in the issues. There are doctors quoted in the articles that explain how the water works and the benefits seen by them in their patients.

The USA congress can change the rules and benefits at any time on your Social Security and Military Retirement benefits. Hopefully the benefits won't be denied because of lack of funding. MLM marketing can provide a supplement to your income of wages and retirement benefits. MLM allows you to have the synergy of working with others to sell your product/products and make more money. The Alkaline Antioxidant Water Appliance can help you keep your youth longer, reduce the medical, and emotional costs of disease. A Water Appliance can add oxygen to your water, produce pH water that goes from a pH of 11.0 (for cleaning purposes, etc.) to 2.5 (for acne and other purposes). The 6.0 is great for the skin (beauty water). The pH from 8.5 to 9.5 is to help the body keep its blood alkaline average about 7.4pH. If the body becomes too acidic from acid foods and drinks the body can pull its needs from the organs and cells which can result in diseases.

How to Write a Film Script?

This is how I write my scripts so I believe that everyone has to find his own way of working that suits his/her the most.

I don't follow any rules of script writing when it comes to telling the story, such as: at this point in a script that ought to happen. I don't believe in this but many do and maybe that is why so many bad scripts are coming out of Hollywood.

I do follow rules when it comes to the structure since it's just easier for the entire crew and cast to follow the script and that is clearer to read. It also looks much more professional when you get the structure right and you want to look professional in front of your cast and crew.

I usually start with writing an idea for a script, which is just a simple description of the whole story. When this is ready, I move on to working on the main characters. Of course it doesn't mean that I am going to stick to the description I have already done. To me it just works as more of a guideline. After that I sit down and start coming up with the scenes, which at first are just descriptions of what might happen in the scene.

When the skeleton of the script is ready I work from that point re-writing the script, each time around making it better and fuller by adding or taking away certain actions, dialogues or scenes.

In the finished script I try to describe the scenes as little as possible, extra words are really not necessary and often confusing for the actors. I usually try to work on dialogues and the overall atmosphere of the story.

I know that there are many rules when it comes to writing different genres, which for some people are good and they need to have it to be able to write anything. Find a system that suits you best and stick to it.

The more scripts you write, the better you become. Even if the scripts don't turn up to be a movie this is the experience that is vital for you.

I know that writing can be hard but once you start, it gets easier and easier every time. The beginning point is the most important, after that it's all just discipline. From my experience I can tell you that writing for longer than five hours a day is difficult, this is a creative work so it has to flow.

If you don't feel confident enough to write your scrip yet, take a script writing workshops; some of them are really good. Try looking for the workshops in your area online.

As far as I am aware there are quite a few websites that deal with script writing/workshops online. However I don't know how secure that kind of work is. You know, copyrights in writing and filmmaking are huge issues so always remember to be covered on that subject.

Remember, find whatever suits you the most and copyright all your work. There are many people willing to steal others ideas.

Notes on script writing

Below is the list of my notes on script writing based on some of the workshops I've done in the past. You might find it useful:

1. Dramatic - sequence leading to change; strong moral element; one character influences the other one. 2. Moral vision. 3. What is the moral line of the story? 4. What defines the storyline? 5. What is the moral change in the character? 6. PLOT - what the main character does in the story; fundamental change in action. Character is defined through the plot. 7. Dialogue is seen as the quickest window to the character. The dialogue expresses the volume of the character. 8. Drama - it is a conflict between what the character stands for and the world surrounding the character. 9. Structure - is a development of the character. 10. The hero never knows what he wants and needs at the beginning of the film. 11. To grow and develop the hero has to fight opponents and obstacles on his way. To make the script more interesting, get into the deepest level of conflict. 12. Whatever the hero comes up with at the start of the film it almost never works out. So he has to adjust to changing circumstances. 13. Before the hero can change, he/she has to figure out what he/she wants or is running away from, why he/she is holding back from taking an action. 14. In the script it's also important to introduce the hero's internal life, his/her natural space. 15. The hero before facing his/her fear or opponent will usually have to go through some kind of change to become stronger. 16. People who have been in filmmaking longer than me say that for the middle of the structure the stories obsessive desire is needed. The character will do almost anything to get what she/he wants. 17. You have probably noticed that almost every film has a point when the hero is just about to lose. It is called the lower point. 18. To make the story more powerful usually the hero learns something from the opponent and grows. 19. If you want to reveal something, make a decision and change an action. This way you give new information to the audience. 20. The hero needs to desire something in each scene.

Story structures

They say that there are only three basic story structures:

* Myth * Fairy tale * Drama

By taking bits and pieces from each structure and using it in a different way, other stories emerge.

Secure the Best Deal for Your Auto Insurance

Looking for a good deal on your auto insurance? Try to consider some of the simple rules provided below.

1. Shop around

Just as you would before buying a new television, or even a new car, shop around and see what is out there to choose from. Every insurance company is different. They serve different people, handle a different number of claims and stand to make different profits each year. The best idea is to check with as many insurance companies as possible to see if you are getting the best deal, or if you could maybe do a little better.

2. Re-check before you renew

Most insurance analysts suggest car owners do a policy search every six months. Before you renew your insurance with the provider you have always used, don't be afraid to ask around and see of someone else can get you a better deal. It is not uncommon for two different insurers to offer two vastly different rates for the same driver based on the same information. As the consumer it is incumbent upon you to make certain you are getting the very best deal and the only way to do that is to compare prices.

Yes, several different insurance companies offer online comparisons with their closest competitors, but these are hardly all-inclusive. There are literally hundreds, thousands, of different insurers available for you to choose from.

3. Understand how your rate is calculated

It is important for you to understand rates are also based on the extent of your coverage. How much you pay will depend a great deal on what it does for you. Liability, property damage, accidental death, there are a whole host of choices when it comes to coverage. Choose only the coverage you need and can afford and which is within the realm of legal requirements for your state.

4. Take note of the insurance deductible

Another big factor when it comes to your insurance rate is your deductible. The bigger your deductible, or out of pocket expense, the lower your premiums. You can reduce your premiums a great deal by increasing your deductible, but if you have an accident you could end up paying a lot of money out of pocket.

5. Compare companies, not just rates

Consider doing your comparison shopping online. There are a multitude of sites which make comparison shopping for insurance simple. And don't forget. Many insurance companies offer discounts for an assortment of security and safety features.

Before you settle for the same rate you have been paying for years, make yourself your own best friend and comparison shop. You could end up saving a whole bunch of money.

What's For Dinner? 30-Minute Menus for 2010 - 34th Edition

This is the 34th edition of the weekly 30-minute menus for 2010. These are published on a weekly basis; I like to develop the weekly menus on Thursday or Friday, grocery shop on Saturday, and start the week's menus on Sunday.

Happy Labor Day to all! Can you believe that summer is over? I hope you have enjoyed every minute of your summer - mine was great.

My family is visiting for the Labor Day weekend. They began arriving on Friday evening so everyone is here for our dinners on Sunday and Monday. Sunday's dinner of Chicken Veronique is so easy and a family favorite; you can have a great meal and still have time to spend with your family. I will serve a Deli Delight appetizer course consisting of: Sliced Swiss, Cheddar and Provolone with Apple Cranberry Chutney; Sliced Ham, Beef, Turkey with Horseradish Mustard; Cherry Tomatoes, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Baby Carrots with Vindaloo Curry Sauce; Roasted Garlic Crackers and Mini Toasts; Golden Roasted Gourmet Peanuts. (Note: I will use the leftover Vindaloo sauce with the Mushroom Fritters on Friday).

I just love the Cincinnati Chili for a Crowd menu for the Labor Day celebration. You may even have a chili competition if you have a folks that like chili to make chili their way. This menu works well for eating at home, in the backyard, or porting to your picnic. Just put your chili in a crockpot and you are all set for good, family fun for all!

You will find that I use several cooking methods, mix and match, to get dinner on the table quickly! (The ingredients in parenthesis show some of my quick-prep steps.) You can always substitute your favorite made-from-scratch recipes when you have more time.

I hope you have a great week!
